Pink Gloves Boxing Instructor Janell Mellish to Join this year’s Cowgirl Up Event at Brush Creek Ranch

Brush Creek Ranch is excited to announce that Pink Gloves Boxing instructor Janell Mellish will join the lineup of special guest instructors for this year’s 5th Annual Cowgirl Up for the Cure event, September 24-27 in Saratoga, Wyoming.

In addition to the wide array of classic western adventures offered at the Ranch, guests attending this special weekend benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation, will have the opportunity to train with inspiring coach Janell Mellish and try this one-of-a-kind boxing workout experience that strengthens and sculpts your muscles, burns body fat, and strengthens you to take on the rest of your day as a Champion.

The Movement

Pink Gloves Boxing is a fitness program that delivers an amazing workout and an emotionally rewarding experience to small communities of powerful women. The fitness world is overflowing with great programs, but PGB is in a class of its own. Pink Gloves is the only program that puts a great deal of focus on social and emotional growth in addition to the amazing workout. Using the core movements of competitive boxing, PGB is a non- contact program for women who want to live a healthy lifestyle. Join us in changing the way we look at the world of fitness. Pink Gloves Boxing™ (PGB) truly is a movement towards a healthier lifestyle!

A Workout That Goes Beyond

Fitness is beyond physical. Yet most companies just sell a body instead of a mind; isolation instead of a community, and the objectifying of women instead of the healthy relationships that empower us to be our best.

 About Janell

Janell Mellish is a veteran of the United States Air Force, in which she was a Training Instructor in Basic Military Training, and in Security Forces. She earned her Master’s Degree in Natural Resources from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Janell’s military training led her to a passion for coaching people to realize their potential and ultimately their “Champion.” She currently runs Pink Gloves Boxing, a women’s boxing gym in Cheyenne, Wyoming and enjoys empowering and believing her ladies are all capable of believing in themselves to conquer their dreams. She has a passion for using her own story to empower and inspire others. In her recently published book “Dearly Loved Exile” she shares how her own tragedy has been turned into hope and strength.

Janell’s greatest joy is her family, as she supports her husband of ten years in the completion of his military career, and they raise their two children in a town that holds a special place in both their hearts. As a family, they spend a lot of time in God’s country, hiking and hunting with the intention of creating as many memories with their children as possible.
